Who I Am

I am an Italian attorney and I have been practicing law for 25 years, I am admitted to the Italian State Bar and I am registered at the California State Bar as a Foreign Legal Consultant.

I am the founder of Pierro Associates law firm (www.pierroassociates.com) with offices in Rome and Milan. We represent international Clients in Italy for a wide range of business transactions but we primarily focus it’s to work in the real estate and business acquisition transactions; in such practices areas, we assist clients in litigation matters as well.

I frequently participate as a speaker in different webinars regarding Italian real estate matters and during the past twenty years, our firm was representing U.S. clients who purchased properties and businesses in Italy. I learned that they were always not aware of the purchasing process of a property in Italy as well as the role played by the realtor.

When I meet someone who already bought a property handling the purchase process by himself I learned they spent much more money than they should have, and this was because the realtor was not representing the Buyer in the purchasing process. Also, there were not aware of the taxes implications of the purchase because nobody provided the related tax advice.

In other words, considering the value of the property the buyers were spending more money than they should.

In this Blog I am going to explain how to purchase process works, how to avoid the head hake, and how to save a lot of money from the deal.

Why This Blog

During the past 15 years I was representing many U.S. clients who purchased properties and businesses in Italy.

I learned that they were always not aware about the purchasing process of a property in Italy as well the role played by the realtor.

When I meet someone who already bought a property handling the purchase process by himself I learned they spent much more money than they should; and this because the realtor was not representing them in the purchasing process. Also, there were not aware about the taxes implications of the purchase because nobody provided the related tax advise/consultancy.

In other words, considering the value of the property the buyer spent more than in the deal.

In this blog I am going to explain how to purchase process works, how to avoid the head hake and how to save a lot of money from the deal.
